| The money in Thailand. The official currency of Thailand is the Thai
Baht. One Thai Baht is divisible into 100 Satang. You
have 25 Satang coins and 50 Satang coins. Made of Brass
and very small. This small coins are practically useless
in Thailand. Other Thai Baht coins come in 1 Baht, 2
Baht, 5 Baht and 10 Baht pieces. |

Bills are various from size and colors. The 20 Baht is Green,
the 50 Baht is Blue, the 100 Baht is Red, the 500 Baht is purple
and the biggest bill, the 1000 Baht is White. Also still in
circulation is the 10 Baht bill who is Brown of color, but these

malls. Look out they charging to 7% purchases overseas.
Hard cash flew is preferred almost everywhere in
Thailand. Travelers checks are not every where accepted
outside of place where you stay, change them for hard
cash at a bank exchange, you'll will find them in any
street of a popular tourist destination in Thailand. |
